Deadlifting is great for lower back pain (when performed correctly). Im the past, I had alot of trouble with lower back pain. I did lots of heavy lifting at work and still do. (construction).. Since I started deadlifting with SL5x5, the pain isnt more tolorable or better... its gone! My back never hurts.
