Hi Mehdi,
I love your site it is the best most comprehensive site for beginners and people like me who have been lifting for years but didn't know as much as we thought we did. One question for you though would'nt you also want to squeeze your glute of the forward working leg as well when coming up?

Hi Mehdi,
Lunges are great supplemental exercise, there is one thing I would like to add which would also be of help while doing Jerks.

While doing Lunge use a medium width stance instead of keeping legs close to each other and while taking the leg forward or backward do this at small angle, this will add lot of stability and will let you lift higher weight.
