    I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. :lol: But I did. Goal:

Reach 1.5xBW in a 1x5, regardless of current training program.

Rules:

1. YOU MUST HAVE A TRAINING LOG ON THIS SITE TO PARTICIPATE.

2. No specific program needs to be followed, but you need to be doing full back squats with a complete ROM. No quarter or half squats.

3. To join in, reply to this thread with your Current Body Weight, Current 1x5 Squat Weight, Goal Squat Weight (1.5xBW) and a link to your training log.

4. Reply to this when you have set a new 1x5 record and I will update your progress. Rankings will be done by % of goal.

Apparently raising 5 lbs per session is not enough to keep up with you animals. :)

Maybe if I lose 10 lbs off my tummy, I'll hit that 150% mark faster. Good job guys!

Dont know what you're complaining about I've been dropping weights on squats over the last few workouts. Some advice I have come up with from this, never take 3 weeks off over Christmas, do no exercise, and stuff your face with chocolate! :D

Can you up my stats to 225lbs. Thanks.

I changed my routine from 5X5 with the same weight to a staggered 5X5. I genrally start @ 180lbs then increase the weight each set, I find I am able to handle more weight on the 4th and 5th set.
