    I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. :lol: But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Rules:
* 1 rep max (1RM) with your own body-weight. So if you weigh 200lbs, that's a 200lbs overhead press for 1 rep.
* No approximates 1RM using calculators and based on current 5x5 or 5rm or whatever is not allowed. It must be a 1RM you have done.
* Clean it first or not, you decide.
* Knees & hips must be locked through the whole lift. Push press not allowed.
* Locked elbows at the top, and keep the weight overhead for at least 2 seconds.
* No excessive lay back: your armpits can't go past your buttocks (must be overhead press, not olympic press).
* You must keep a training log on the forum to particpate.
* If you're not active for more than 2 months, you'll get off the list.
* All weights in pounds. (To convert from kilograms to pounds, multiply the Kg x 2.2)

* Post your username.
* Post your body-weight.
* Post your current 1RM.
* Post a link to your training log.

NOTE: Remember to convert to pounds when you post.

Current weigth:224
1RM OHP 210

93% but that's a big 7%.

I press 132 lbs 3x5 now.
hopefully 5x5 by wednesday.

the 1rm calculator says: 149 lbs

hope I can pull this off soon.

You must press the weight for a single, calculators are not allowed. Please read the rules.

Getting up there Mehdi. I think you're gonna overtake me pretty quick. Apparently I can't do math, it's 7%. It's a big 7%.

My bodyweight is 154lbs, OHP 5X5 is 100 lbs, just checked my max, it's 121lbs. Thats 78%,isn't it?
Long way to go, but it's one of my favourite exercises
