sickduck, I'm just wondering because of your monstrous squat, why your bench is comparatively low?

I have no idea... I've been eating like a bear preparing for hibernation for the last couple of weeks, hoping that I could get some gains on my bench. I think my form must be off, I'll try to post a video soon, get some advice.
I've only ever done SL5x5 and another 5x5 program, both are very squat intensive programs. I'm going to test out my maxes again on Sat.
'09 goals:
Deadlift 220kg
Squat 180kg

Hit a 315 back squat today with ease...still doesn't count 'til i throw up that 320 front squat though.....weighed 156 after wrestling practice

can we do percent improvement as well, my max squat is 200 lbs, and i weigh 145, so getting to 290 will be pretty hard, but i am trying hard to get it up there

Is it too late to join the competition now..

I don't know my current max but I think that 2 x BW in squat is at reach within 2 months for me.

Stats:
87 kg
2 x BW = 174 kg. I'll make it 175 kg.

Never too late to join, the competition has actually already been completed by a couple members. Now it's more of a personal competition with each person striving to do it as quickly as possible.

Ill join! My bodyweight is about 135. So my 2 x bodyweight max is 270. And my current max is 240. Only 30 pounds!

If you want to join, make sure to use to add yourself with stats. use the quote.

My current 5x5 max is : 105 kg
I weigh 75 kg so my 2xBW squat would be 150 kg 330 lb.
45 kg to gain :D

I hope I can pull the 330lb squat of in January.

Wow... ezravdb... you have EXACTLY the same stats as me. No shit. Ok technically I'm 300grams more than you!! I am 75.3kg and my 5RM on squats is 105kg as well. I recently deloaded and am almost closing back in on 107.5kg.

I'm going to start following your log (if u have one). Hopefully we can cheer each other on (mine is waza-s-training-log-t12837.html).

Maybe a little bit of competition between us will get things moving?! :)
