I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Recently broke the 200 milestone after being stuck at 190 for quite a while.

I found that once I could get 1 x3 at 180 and 1 x 2 at 190 I could get the 200 1rm in the same workout. I did this through 4,3,2,4,3,2 wave loading over about 6 weeks, only DLing once a week. I also did a 8 x 1 speed DLs on the other day at about 70% of 1rm with 20 seconds rest in between reps.

More recenty I added another 10kg after completing 1 cycle of periodized Madcow, so the next biggie is the 500lb! Anyone for half a hundredweight? (assuming you get to the 200!)

That's where we're going - but i'm sure we will be following the Northstar to get there

I'm at 150kg 1x5 and had originally set myself a goal of 2xBW 1x5 by the end of the year. Don't know if I'll make it, but if I can get up to 180~190kg area then a 200kg 1RM has got to be possible. Or is this just wishful thinking?
What the heck. I'm in.

Good man DaveT - if you can do 150 x 5 I'm sure you can get to 200 x 1, there's still 5 months to go!

Northstar, if you're aiming for 500lbs by the end of the year, chuck your numbers in this thread

For me this is like an ultimate goal (that may not even be genetically possible), being already quite muscular at 5'2, 60kg lean (currently 66kg with 20% fat). I may or may not get there one day.

It's clear why this milestone is of interest to me, but I will participate as a spectator on this occasion!

Go get it, big boys!
