I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

A new "whey" to get your Whey.

I love my protein shake, plain and simple. Since I cut out diet soda, it's my treat for the day.
My Shake consists of the following:
18-24oz of 2% Milk
2-3 Scoops of Chocolate Flavored Whey Powder
Instant Oatmeal (sometimes)
2-3 Raw Eggs for protein and thickness
---------------------
Now, even though I love my daily/bi-daily shake, I yearn for a change now and again as I'm sure we all do. As William Cowper once said, "Variety is the Spice of life, it gives it it's very flavor."

So here we go: Whey Whipped Cream or "Whey-ped Cream"
Get yourself a small carton of Heavy Whipping cream (high in fat and calories, but then again this isn't something you would do all to often unless you wanted to gain some LB's.)
Simply Mix in the desired ammount of your choice Whey Powder and mix in a blender on the "whip" setting for a minute or two and spoon into a dish.
Great for going ontop of ice cream and for pie and especially by itself as it's very tasty - tastes very similar to chocolate whipped cream when using chocolate flavored whey powder.
You can also add suger/splenda to sweeten it further but I don't bother. Better this than a bowl of ice cream!

Myeah it's a bit heavy with whipped cream, but it's good. Watch out with the fat however, I used to drink that on the Anabolic Diet.
