I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

that's because you don't visualize posture and muscles-stress properly (see earlier posts). lie on the floor, close your eyes, rest your hands besides you... visualize.... do 5 sets of 5 reps of course !! it has Not been called Stronglifts6x17 !

if you still can't manage to visualize more than 4 reps after 16 weeks of practice, email Chris9 and ask him for secret yoga techniques, or shoot yourself in the foot and wonder why you ain't getting a pretty nurse like the one in that movie you watched the other day.

Visualization is awesome when you don't have time to go to the gym, but you want to get that endorphin rush.

I want to improve my golf game. However, I don't have a full set of golf clubs, so I can only use a putter and my granddad's old five iron. Also, I don't want to go to the golf course because it's too far away, expensive and sand makes me nervous, so I'm limited to practicing in my back yard.

So can anyone offer any tips?

Everybody knows that the best way to get good at golf is to practice in a variety of settings. Seve Ballesteros practiced on the beaches for years before going on a golf-course. I would recommend the old hit-the-ball-against-the-wall-as-hard-as-you-can technique. Many pro golfers have gained vastly improved reflexes, accuracy and technique using this age-old technique.

I would recommend you start with a moss-wall and then work your way up to a brick wall. And yes, you have to use real golf balls.
