    I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. :lol: But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I'm 25, 6'0 172 lbs. Been doing stronglifts about 1 month now and its been going well. Problem is eating is intimidating. I feel like 3500 calories a day (on the upper end of the range) is a little out of control for only lifting 3 days a week. I'm not trying to cut, I'd rather bulk up, and I do some cardio also. Am I just not used to this or should I reconsider my caloric intake?

No it's probably not too much, if you're going hard enough it may not be enough, especially with cardio. Just need to get used to it.

What is your current bf%?

How much weight are you gaining each week?

Impossible to say if you're eating 'too much' from the little info you've given us mate. Personally I can bulk easily on under 3000 calories with cardio and hard lifting. Everyone is different
