Back problem during deads...

Hey,

I'm having a problem deadlifting even as small a weight as 135lbs. I'd previously injured my back lifting matresses, the right lower lumbar just above the glute, about two years ago. I kept re-injuring the very same area (I stalled out at 385lbs) due to too much weight and bad form etc.

Anyway, when I'm doing deads, I'm getting the feeling like I'm pulling the area and my back hurts for days. Sitting at a chair for long periods just does not happen and basically I'm slathering on icy-hot and taking anti-inflmatories like candy to make it tolerable.

I have no idea why I keep pulling the area. My form is better and the weights are much lower. It's just when I seem to do as few as 4 or 5 reps, it starts to happen. However, Good mornings and reverse hypers, hyperextensions etc don't present the same issue.

Does anyone know why it's happening?

Thanks.

If you can, post a video of your Deads so members can see your form.
The previous injury is an issue it seems from what your saying that something has not completely healed?
