I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Hey guys,

My name is Brett and I have started to train with weights again after losing 5kgs recently. I now weigh around 62kgs sitting on a 170cm high frame. I want to gain some muscle and improve my general fitness. A little while back I used to train using more isolation-type exercises and now I am ready to go back to basics. This program sounds great and I feel is what I need right now.

I will try to eat more and do my best to stick to 3 workouts a week. Since I want to improve my fitness as well I will initially add 10mins of cycling after each session. I will probably extend this to 15mins over time as my fitness improves. I know this is counter-productive to gaining weight but I am happy to slowly gain weight over a longer period of time and in return have better overall health.

Today I have completed my first workout and it went great. I feel very good and will create a training log with more information. This will also be a great way to motivate me, since it's getting colder outside I need all the motivation I can get to hit the gym!

Good luck to everyone else in their journey to better improve themselves! I'll be right along with you... 8)
