I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Hello everyone, I hadn't been to the gym in about a month, I had been on the SL 5x5 Beginner program. The week I got back I started about 10 lbs lighter than where I ended before I had left the gym for a little while, and it feels alright, a little shaky with the squats though. I was wondering if I should start all over with just the bar or if I should keep going where I'm at.

Squat - 235 lbs
Bench - 190 lbs
Overhead Press - 95 lbs
Deadlift - 235 lbs

I don't think a return to the bar is necessary unless your form is terrible, but I would recommend 60-70% of your last working weights. Ten pounds less than you were doing with a month off is probably too much.

Deload to a weight that you feel comfortable with and that you have perfect form with.
Stats:
Bench: 97kg
Squat: 112kg
Deadlift: 117kg
OHP: 55kg
Dips: 40kg
Pull-ups: 22kg

The deadlift is not dead; size is dead without it.
