I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Anyway, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to everyone.

Congrats on a great 2009.

I'm curious about the point "Built new social circle from scratch." Do you have a post (or posts) anywhere about this? I'm going through a life change that may make this a very important point for me.

THanks.

Look into the social/relationship category, I've posted stuff here & there. If you got questions, start a thread.

I hardly went out the 2years after I started this site. Was working all the time. When I decided to go out weekly again, the friends I used to go out with were past that (settled, relationship, kids, etc). So I went looking for like minded people: who go out several times per week, are single, have their own business, etc.

Friends come and go I learned. Your best friend will meet a girl and stop calling you. And that's not bad thing, it's just how people are. Don't take things for granted. You should always be making friends with new people including girls instead of thinking short-term. Even if you're in a relationship. Nothing lasts forever.
