Been following stronglifts 5X5 for about three months. I just deloaded bench and squat for first time. Also deloaded press for 2nd time. Working on hip mobility. And gaining weight (increased calories)

Tonights lifts: Squat 195lbs 5x5
Press 95ibs 5x5
D/L 295 1X5
Pull Ups 10,9,9
Prone bridges 3x 30secs

Squat felt good tonight really focused on form and squeezing glutes, was kind of refreshing deloading.
Dead lift felt good. Better buy more plates, only have 300lbs. :(

Goals Squat 300lbs 5x5, Gain 10lbs, Lift in a "friendly" competition.

Felt great tonight I think I got some extra motivation by starting this Log :) Couldn't wait to get home to squat.

Squat 200 lbs 5x5
Bench 170 lbs 5x5
Rows 145lbs 5x5
Push ups 25,23,20
Rev Crunchs 3x15

Weighed in today at 210. All the milk is starting to add lbs.
Need to get more weights for dead lift. Anyone ever put Bumper plates in the squat rack? I dont see where they would make a difference, but what do I know.

Last workout until Sunday. I need a rest!

Tonight:

Squat 205 lbs 5x5
Press 100 lbs 5x5 (pr)
D/L 300 lbs 1x5 (pr)

Took a little extra time between sets on the press since this is the weight I stalled at last. wanted to make sure I got all five sets on first try so I wouldn't start second guessing myself. It felt great to get 100 lbs though. But it took all my energy:( 300 lbs D/L kicked my ass!

Good idea to start a log Big D.

Those are big DLs your doing. Keep it coming and take care about form - which you're probably doing anyway.

Good BP numbers too.

Keep up the good work and my best to you on reaching your goals

Tonight:

Squat 210 lbs 5x5 (pr)
Bench 175 lbs 5X5
Rows 150 lbs 5,5,4,4,4
Push Ups 22,20,18
Rev Crunch 3 x 15

Pretty good work out, struggled getting bar to chest on last three sets of rows. Went to second hand store today and got (2) 45 lbs plates ready to tackle 305 deads on Tues.

Last night:

Didn't get to lift until about 11:00pm.

Squat 215lbs 5x5
Press 102.5 lbs 5,5,5,3,1
D/L 305 lbs 1x4
Prone bridges 3x30sec
Chins 10,9,7

I have been really focusing on squat form especially bar position it seams I have been letting the bar get a little higher on my back as the weights have increased. The weak part of my lift was really exposed about half out of the hole. Really concentrated and pushed through part of lift.

Only added 2.5 lbs to press this time because i knew five would be too much. First three sets were alright. Real slow bar speed, but good form. Last two attempts kicked my arse.

D/L just bought (2) new 45 lb plates and had been looking forward to putting them on bar. Had good warmups at 135, and 225. I loaded 305 got psyched and lifted the bar on the third rep it slipped a little in my grip. I was so excited to lift over 300 lbs that I forgot to use the chalk. I couldn't get fifth rep with good form so I will attempt again next time.

Had some free time yesterday at work so I read a bunch of off topic posts on SL. Was contemplating the question Do I love or hate the Iron? Hell yes I love the f'cking things.

Also saw the post What is the best haircut for squats? LMFAO

Tonight

Squat 225lbs 3x5
Bench 180lbs 5x5
Rows 150lbs 5,5,5,5,4
P/u 21,19,17
Rev Crunch 3x15

The Squat was supposed to be 5x5 220lbs ,but i can't count tonight. I thought it was really hard compared to last lift when I noticed I had five mor pounds than I thought. I forgot to chalk last workout now I'm loading too much weight. Probably need to slow down a bit.
Have two days off now. I need to look into a stretching routine/mobility workout hamstrings are tighter than ever.

Joined the race to 70kg press today. May start doing extra presses next week.

Pretty impressive gains for 3 months! I envy your bench press and your deadlift is huge for such a short period of time. Can I assume you've had some earlier lifting experience?

@ bobu Previous to strong lifts I did a lot of dumbell work. Mostly curls and presses. I worked up to where i could do three sets of twelve on each exercise. And then i bought a new set of dumbells. the last set i bought was 75lbs. So I was already benching 150 lbs for reps before stronglifts. Now I have about 1000 lbs of dumbells laying in the corner collecting dust.

As far as dead lift I had never even attempted it befor stronglifts. I worked as a construction laborer in my early twenties and must have gained some strength there.

Thanks

Last night:

I felt like crap all day. Spent most of the day in bed. I forced myself to go lift.

Squat 220 lbs 5x5
Press 102.5 lbs 5,5,4,3,2
D/l 305 lbs 1x4

Didn't do any chins or bridges today.

I guess I'll look on the bright side that I actually lifted and didn't blow it off due to not feeling well.

Hope you feel better soon. I know how tough it is to workout when you feel like crap. At least you got a pretty good workout in even when less than 100%.

Last Night:

Squat 225lbs 3x5
Bench 185lbs 5,5,5,5,4
Rows 150lbs 5x5 pr

Rev crunches 3x15

I'm switching to 3x5 for squats until next deload.

I couldn't get the last rep up on bench, I pushed as hard as I could but it just would not move. I ended up hurting my wrist.

No push ups due to wrist hurting.

My adductor flexibility/mobility is terrible. I did some stretching on my off day and I think it made it worse. Sure seemed to stretch out once I got 225lbs on my back though.
