I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

He.. is... WESTMEAD HAWK! hehe If it weren't for the fact that I am leasing in a no-pet apartment, I'd have adopted an abandoned race greyhound or whippet by now.

How much is that Chinese dude squatting?! Looks like 180kg+

180kg then they move to 200kg. Beasts.

Westmead Hawk is one of my favourites. You guys had Brett Lee (the greyhound) who was just pure awesome though. Actually, some very good 'blood' comes over from Australia to the UK.

Your legs are definately not skinny, you obviously squat, judging only by the pictures.

Wow, quadzilla is an animal! He has beast like quads! But hey, you're not a quadzilla yet, but you still look like you're one in the making.

(I'm going to steal the quadzilla pic, I laughed hard on that one  )

You need to be a different kind of beast for the deadlift. Here's one, doing a one arm deadlift.

monster quads picture is indeed monstrous, nothing compared to quadzilla off course  I already was impressed by your RSR, and now I've read about your rottweiler collide and you've hit the iron seriously again in may, that's amazing!!

Hmm I'm concerned I will look somewhere between the medalist and quadzilla if I do the 20 rep squat program... concerned because I already find 32s tight around the legs and I plan to reduce, not increase my waist size!

What's the plan once you complete the RSR, bgh?

Not sure - I may take a break.

I just found out today that my younger dog is dying. 7 yrs old and has confirmed case of carcinoma in the liver and adrenal glands. His breathing problem is the result of a tumour blocking part of his airway. Scans revealed suspect allesions in the lungs. Encologist to speak to us tomorrow, but the prognosis is bad. The only thing we don't know is what will kill him first: lung cancer; liver failure; self-starvation; us. Breaks my heart. Other than this, he has always shown himself to be a healthy dog. Out of my two dogs, he was the one I expected to live the longest.

My first and last dog suffered from epilepsy and cancer... it's a trying time. I hope things pan out better than expected.
