I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Week 5
Day 15: 24 October 2009
Routine A

Squat: 55kg 5x5
Bench Press: 37.5kg 5x5
Inverted Row: 9,7,5 with feet on floor and legs straight
Push-ups: 14,12,9
Reverse Crunch: 3x8 / 6kg

- Squats were tough. I hurt something a little in my right calf on the second set. I also need to work on making sure my upper body moves at the same speed as my hips as there were a few times I could tell my hips moved up faster causing my back to have to push the wait.
- Bench Press was good. I had to use a regular bench and the weight is not bad yet so I only waited 5-10 seconds between sets and let the bar rest on my chest.
- Inverted Row is somewhat better but still have feet on the ground.
- Push-ups were ok but did not get in quite as many probably due to less rest during the Bench Press.
- Reverse Crunch was good.

Week 6
Day 16: 26 October 2009
Routine B

Squat: 57.5kg 5x5
Overhead Press: 37.5kg 5x5
Deadlift: 75kg 1x5
Chin-ups: 7,5,4 Small hops up
Prone Bridges: 3x30sec

Squats are pretty tough now, probably near stalling.
Overhead Press was real tough and had to wait longer to just barely finish the sets.
Deadlift was good and starting to feel the weight now.
Chin-ups are still getting better little by little, but gotta hop to get started.
Prone Bridges were good.
