I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Calling lightweights for comparison purposes.

What's going on guys?

It has been 6 weeks since I started SL 5x5 and I am loving the strength gains.

I wanted to know where I am standing in terms of strength for my weight (I know this is not a good measure).

What are the the numbers for Squat/ Deadlift/ Overhead Press/ Bench Press for people in 130-140lb bodyweight range.

My current stats:

Bodyweight: 134 lb
Squat: 160 lb
Deadlift: 160 lb
Overhead Press: 80 lb
Bench Press: 120 lb

Thanks!

That's solid progress, masuri. I think you have more numbers further right on the scale Subsistence posted than I did when six weeks into the program. Nice work!

There you go :)

Or try:
http://www.enblom.org/cgi-bin/strength/standard
This is in KG and if you input your bodyweight it automatically calculates whats expected of a novice, intermediate etc.

(both are based on figures from Rippetoe's book)

Useful links. Nice to know I'm on track to be considered (or already considered) a novice in all the lifts, which is where I would expect to be in my 11th week.

Good numbers btw. Something for me to strive for.

Bodyweight: 137 lb
Squat: 175 lb
Deadlift: 185 lb
Overhead Press: 80 lb
Bench Press: 115 lb

Somewhat similar to yours :). Keep it up! By the way, I started to eat more and I see some progress. Was at 133 about 3 weeks ago.
