I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I picked someone up and threw them about 4 months ago and my right shouldr hasnt been the same since. I have had a few weeks off the gym simply because there was no way of me working with it or around it but after a few weeks rest got back into it and it felt bearable. Im starting 5 by 5 and understand how alot of injuries (I have some knee pain) will go away once trained. I also have sore wrists that click whenever i move them.

I am looking for an exercise to strengthen my wrists and shoulders. At the moment these are fairly minor injuries but have consisntently given me problemsfor the last couple of months of lifting especially the shoulder. Any help would be greatly appreciated

p.s. i have already visited my local doctor who gave me the disapproving look of this is all weightliftings fault and I should rest for a few weeks and see if it goes away :D

I'd say the press is a good exercise for strengthening the wrists and shoulders. Does your shoulder hurt when you press?
