I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Creatine & GOMAD

Creatine & GOMAD

Postby Deland01 on Fri Oct 30, 2009 2:01 pm

Ive just started GOMAD 3 days ago.

1st day = 4pts milk
2nd day = 5pts milk
3rd day = hoping for 6pts of milk

I also take creatine. First question is would I still see any benefits from taking creatine on GOMAD?
Second question is do I still need to drink 12 -13 pints of water per day as advised when on creatine. Im not sure im gona be able to do this with all the milk on top.

1) Yes, you would still see benefits. There is no creatine in milk so you can continue supplementation. If I remember correctly, creatine provides benefits during the workout allowing you to lift more weights for more reps. GOMAD provides you with saturated fats and protein which are beneficial in the restoring process (building muscle) after the workout.

2) You don't need to consume that much water when doing GOMAD. A large part of milk is water so doing GOMAD will automatically garuantee that you get a large part of your daily water intake.
