I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I am now in week 6 of the beginner 5X5 and my favorite exercise is turning out to be the deadlift. Is there a reason we are to do only 1 set? I always finding myself wanting to do more but don't want to overtrain.
Thanks!

Deadlift Sets for beginner

yeah true. agreed felonyr haha. and a tip since ur a beginning, don't make the same mistakes i made when i started deadlifting: don't barely touch the floor, make sure you let it come to a full stop on the floor then continue; and don't pull with your lower back, pull with your hips. think of it like just pushing your hips through.

Deadlift Sets for beginner

Thanks for the advice guys, makes a lot of sense. I still have 45 lbs until i hit my bodyweight so i am sure that at that point it will feel a lot tougher. Not that it is easy now i just feel i should be doing more, such is the life of a beginner i guess. Thats why you guys are here.

Cheers!
