I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Do muscles turn to fat when you get old?

Bigger chest, bigger arms, 6-pack abs, bigger calves, x-shape.

It's a shame to hear that the man that authored The Iron has stopped lifting heavy.

Haha, imagine what Henry thinks. He's the one that wrote that, he probably didn't give it up willingly. At least he still lifts.

Personally, I think the dudes won his bona fides

He's only 48 though! I hope my joints haven't packed up 10 years from now.

I was listening to Louie Simmons the other day talking about his broken back and how he came up with the westside method so he could still lift with these problems. Apparently some smart arse told him he'd never have 500lb on his back again - he proved them wrong.
By the way I'm not having a go at Rollins, I've been a fan since the Black Flag days, and he's one of my favourite "philosophers" too. As long as he's still hitting some sort of iron I'll overlook the super skinny thing.
Male 37 - 5'9" - 240lb.
Deadlift 600+
Squat 500+
Pess 315
Bench 450+
these numbers will go up (except the bench....bloody shoulder joint)

OK, that is the first time i've read that, and it so true.
No, I don't want to be stronger than you; that would be too easy. Now, to be stronger than I was yesterday? Yes, that's more challenging.
