I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Hey all...
Today I the weather was surely awesome... for a day at the beach... but for the gym, I'm afraid it might just be a tad bit hot, and we don't have aircon only 2 fans! (College Gym)
I was wonder can the heat really affect your performance directly or indirectly (Like directly - physically you feel weak, indirect - like you are mentally drained so you can't perform as well)??
Because today, I didn't do my best... I dropped down in some exercises! >< (Deadlift... could only do 4 reps on the same weight as last session on deadlifts!)
The idea is to die young as late as possible.

The heat definitely has an effect on me. I get dizzier during my lifts and lose a lot of focus.

The gym I'm at right now (in Hungary) has no fans OR air conditioning - so before it started to cool off outside, going to the gym could be hell. I sweat enough anyway even when the gym is cold

Might dehydrate you, which will hurt your strength.
