I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

aha, thanks. I guess squeezing glutes have lots of importance.

Workout A - 29.09.2009

Squat - 60kg - 5/5/5/5/5
After looking on the form I felt todays squat was easier and felt better.

Bench Press - 37,5kg - 5/5/5/5/5
Felt a good stretch in my chest in the end of the workout. Felt good.

Power Clean - 42,5kg - 5/5/5/5/5
God, these are tiring me absolutely. Im wondering if its good to lower the volume or the sets, because form is getting worser on the fourth and fifth, especially on the last sets.
I feel I have good enough form to increase the intensity by doing 3x5 or something.
Any suggestions?

Dips - 11/7/6

Reverse Crunch - 12/12/12

Have increased the food intake per day and drinking slightly more milk to get prepared for the GOMAD.
Any suggestions on sets and reps on Power clean?

Hi oggy, thanks ;)
Im not doing push-ups anymore, I have switched them with Dips after a suggestion from a fellow stronglifter.
Did 22 plain push-ups before I switched. I had a choice to begin with weighted push-ups, elevated push-ups or dips.
Since we have a rack to do dips I thought of giving it a try.

Workout B - 01.10.2009

Squat - 62,5kg - 5/5/5/5/5
Slightly better and easier after working on the form last workout.

Overhead Press - 32,5kg - 5/5/5/5/5
Pretty heavy and shaky sets. They worked hard today.

Deadlift - 57,5kg - 5/5/5/5/5
Im happy with lifting this weight and no longer feel the pain in the lower back. Ill be cautious if the pain comes back.

Pull-Ups - 9/6/4
Drained me from the remaining energy, exhausted. Did get two more reps than last time, im getting into the groove again!

Prone Bridges - 3x1min

New olympic weightlifting competition next weekend on Saturday 10.10.2009.
Ill compete, but with no other goals than taking home a New PR. I will not prepare for this event, but stay on the SL 5x5 program.
Ill do my best and get those PRs!

Nice numbers. Looks like your squat is going great. Let's hope you can hit a great number before stalling/deloading.

Dips are great, because they are more helpful towards the bench press and OHP. How high on dips will you go, before adding weight?

Thanks. I hope to hit 1,5xBW on squats without deloading twice because of stalls. Ill need to eat like a champ to do that.

Love dips. I thought about adding weight when I could dip up to 15 reps but im not sure. I do have a dip belt ready, home made

BC I dont have Dips Bar at home...I've thinking if it's a good idea to buy a dips bar or not, since Im getting a Squats stand soon and buying that plus a dips bar would be too mmuch for my budget right now :p.....so Im gonna give it a serious thought and then I'll make up my mind if I get it or not...

Preparations - 08.10.2009

I didn't keep what I promised, sorry for that.
I did prepare with snatches and C&J for the upcomming olympic event this weekend on saturday, which I said I shouldn't do.
I was supposed to stick to the SL 5x5 program.. oh well.

Light Intensive work (Singles)

Snatch - 1x45kg
Im going for a PR on the Snatch on Saturday, probably 53kg. Since I haven't practiced any form Ill have to depend on the current form I have now and hope my strength has increased since last time.

Clean & Jerk - 1x65kg
Aiming for PR by 73-75kg. Ill give my best shot.

ATG Squat - 1x75kg - New PR :)
Since I was allowed by the coach to do some single squats to prepare for the event, I did nail a new PR on 1 rep max.
I haven't checked my 1RM Squat yet, and 1x75kg felt really light even as it was a ass to grass squat. Could probably squat 80-85kg more today, but this would tire me out before the competition so the coach refused me to try my 1RM in Squat.

Im excited to try my 1RM Squat some day! :) An 85kg 1RM squat would be 5kg away from 1,5xBW Squat for me.
About the Olympic Competition, I will try to film the lifts this time too, and post it. Looking on myself lifting really makes me realise my own form problems.
