I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I'm 25 same weight and height sense i was 14..
I'm 6'3
137 LB's
I'm tall so my weight makes me thin. I have a ripped build so i know there is potential if i get back into work out my routine. I have been tall and thin all my life.
When i use to work out more i was about 140 LB. The most i could get up to if i ate was 142 LB.
I did that whole double your calorie intake to gain weight but that didnt seem to work.. So eating a lot in my experience doesn't always mean you'll gain weight especially with my metabolism..

Thus i dont believe in the thing i read here on this forum.
"Skinny guys can gain 20lbs their 1st month by eating a lot of food and training 3 times per day. People will notice you're doing something within the first 3 months."

Well im here to find out what exactly is the best food to gain weight.. Calories alone arnt doing it.. Maybe i lacked a little on the protein part i dont know.
I use to do 38 pull ups,now 10.
Thats where most of my training gave me my strength cause i didnt have other work out equipment..I use to have a good bar now i have one of those stupid door pull up bars.
So im gonna look around see if anyone knows where to buy a good one online.
dunno where its safe to buy.. maybe easy effort.
well looking forward to meeting people and getting help so i can gain more then 4 lb's and stalling there..
howdy do.

welcome to stronglifts. 6'3" and 137lbs is very skinny indeed.

I would be interested to hear how many calories you were consuming when you were "eating a lot". Could you list a typical day's worth of eating?

It may be good to start a thread in the "gain weight" section of the forum, repeating the background that you posted here, because that will get more of a response (not everyone looks in this section). We'll do our best to give you some advice and hopefully you'll be able to have some success.
