I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Avatar -
Do this through the 'Edit Avatar' section in the 'User Control Panel' - there is an option to upload from your computer.
If the picture you want to upload is larger in file size than 6kb and the dimensions are bigger than 80x80 pixels you will need to resize the image. Do this with an image editing application - IrfanView is a good bit of kit if you don't have one and is free for single user home use.

Vid links -
Upload them to a hosting site - like YouTube - and then embed them or submit the url.

C-ron,

The image can also be resized using Microsoft picture manager.

Posting to youtube is easiest because there's the helpful 'youtube' button when you're writing a post.
A youtube URL will end with something like "v=Rq8CWv8UPAI"
When you want to embed just put the "Rq8CWv8UPAI" between the youtube brackets in your post.
