I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I just purchased the promo package and got a link to the Eat Stop Eat ebook, but I can't find any links to the other two books. Did I miss something?

After a bit more digging I was able to find it.

I must've closed my browser window to soon. In any case, the link can be found at the very bottom of the confirmation email in the "Request generated by" section, in case anybody does the same thing I did :-).

Haha - I read the new blog at work today (it comes in my email), and was quite pleased to see my nickname on SL.com ;-) I also twittered the link.

Good stuff, Mehdi ;-)

Mehdi and Rokku, just curious, don't you guys ever get headaches when you don't eat anything for a long period of time? it happened to me today... it might've also been because I didn't drink much water, so I dunno if dehydration was the real cause...

I'm on my first fast ever.... had last meal post workout pasta @ 2pm yesterday... and haven't consumed anything but a shit ton of water until 2pm today (its 12:45pm right now so I've got another hour or so to go). I felt alright all last night and when I woke up, but now that its almost 24 hours, I'm starting to feel kinda shitty/hungry/I don't know. I'm guessing I'll get used to this after a couple of weeks of fasting right?

Also I checked my weight today morning... 245. I doubt I lost 5+ pounds of fat haha... I'm guessing its the lack of food/carbs right?

First time is the hardest as with everything. The more you fast the easier it gets. Hang in there. And make sure you don't eat like a pig when breaking the fast.

Also Mehdi, does it have to be EXACTLY 24 hours? I have an alarm set on my phone for 24 hours.... but does it matter if its like 22 or 23 hours (on days when I'm on keeping track completely... as of now, I'm at home for the summer but when I go to college, I won't be able to keep track as much)

Tarun - no it doesn't. It's just easier to remember and schedule IMO. But you begin to get the benefits after ~16 hours (Eat Stop Eat has the data on this).

Should be minimum 18h. I go for 24h and have done 30h. Keep it simple and do 24h. Point is that you shouldn't break fast because you're hungry. That is not a good reason.
