I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Way to go on those squats! No wonder you have muscles showing. :D And really good chinups - even jumping, it all counts. So, are you taking a break from doing SL to do something else? More cardio with more bodybuilding type exercises? Good progress, elisa!

It made me want to go stand in front of the mirror and do some flexing 8)
But still a bit of fat on the triceps...... I know, all is vanity but dang, I want to look good too.

This is the beauty of training for strength. You get all caught up on getting to your lifting goals, and don't spend all your time at the mirror. But every now and again, you'll catch a glimpse of yourself, or someone will say something, and you'll see the aesthetic improvements too.

Did Elisa post pictures of her muscles? If so, I missed it. I like seeing everyone's progress. Even Mouse's although I wish he would have chosen a different attire.

Thanks makanno, it was a great day, spent the entire day with my daughters and other family. Just hung out without rushing around.

YA - will work on 1.5 squat later.......

No pics yet, have to find the time to figure out where to upload them to. And I won't be wearing white briefs!

Have been getting ready to head out of town, a busy time and I will be gone for over a week. I am still working out, doing a muscle keeping, fat loss program that is only one month in duration. It is tough. Whips my toosh!!!
So will be ready for 5x5 again the beginning of June,
so if I don't post, I haven't disappeared, just busy

Ha, ha mouse. You just have some very memorable pictures

Did a killer workout today and then the jet lag set it and I am dog tired. Just ready to drop.
Today is my birthday, 39 and holding.......
Will probably have a BBQ this weekend to celebrate mine and my daughters birthday together.
