I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Thanks Fatguynomore,
i know i should do the 70/30% ratio and am struggling with the meals and quantity parts  but am sure in a weeks time i will be food pro and eating small potions. At least i manage four portions a day from 3.

Hey all been out of touch the last 4-5 days... car blew up... weekend of cleaning out the garage, getting ready for winter here in good ole Michigan...

picked up a mini prowler/sled from ebay today... gonna add this into my routine somehow... i remember the precision nutrition blog having something on sled work (Merry Christmas to me!) to pick out your weight for gpp work... hmm... and yes i am an equipment whore... but your all welcome to come over to my house to workout whenever... i said im a whore... not a greedy whore.

160lbs 3x5 Squat - New PR - this was soo freaking hard... i am such a pansy  35lbs to go to get to bw...

100 OHP... 5, 5, 3... changed to a different rack today... instead of cleaning them off the floor i just unrack it and go... i would have thought this would have been easier... it was much harder... plus it was like i was learning the position all over again... weird.

alternating sets of chins (with bands) and back extensions
chins 6, 5, 5, 4
back extensions 5x12 20lbs...

more later everyone... ill try to catch up on everyone's log tomorrow...

Hey FGNM. I tried this after a bought my power rack and my original squat stand became redundant. Now considering I hate OHPs, I would much rather clean it from the floor than fetch it off a rack :?

3x5 Squat 165lbs 4, 3, 3 - hard... i just switched to morning workouts so well see how it goes...
b 3x5 Bench 140lbs 4, 3, 2 - time to deload to 125 and try again
c 1x5 Deadlift 185lbs... easy form was good

d1Tricep Trap 3's 3 x 12 used 15's on first set... used 10's after that.
d2 External Rotation 3 x 10 15's all around
d3 Band Pull apparts 2 x 25- used mini red band from elitefts... not as easy as it sounds...

more later... trying to be focused at 6am is pretty tough...

One-hundred-and-eighty-five pounds should never be used in the same sentence as "easy".

I have that same red band from EliteFTS - I use it for pull ups, not pull aparts. FGNM, seriously, that is a pretty strong band.

Hope your schedule works out. Six am is really early to be picking up heavy stuff. On the other hand, it is likely the hardest thing you have to face for the rest of the day - unless your boss has a pointy head.

Good luck working out in the mornings. I never did adjust to it very well. I hope it works for you.

yeah barry its a lot harder than that little band looks...

6am is early... but if i dont start till 6:30 (eg i give myself some time to wake up) it aint too bad... that and really load music blaring thru the headphones helps me focus... that and a carb up "weekend" at my parents place gave me the incentive to bust my ass this morning...

3x5 Squat 165lbs... heavy but not as much as last time... pr... moving closer closer still to bw...
3x5 Press 100lbs 5,5,5 - last set was hard...
5x12 Weighted BackExtensions 20lbs gonna move up to 30lbs next time and go back to 5x10
Chins 3xF 5, 4, 4... hard

more later as time allows...

looking forward to meeting u pg...

1x5 Deadlift 185lbs... easier(hows that barry?)... screwed up my weights soo...

Well after all the males in the house had some sort of stomach virus and the two boys having ear infections (basically our house was down for the last week)... lets get on with the show shall we...

3x5 Real Box Squats 155lbs... hard, probably could have done 165... more weight next time...
my coach wants me to try these one inch above parallel to see if it helps my back because the front squats put more pressure on my knees... im sitting (not falling) on the box, counting one, then driving off the box trying to spread the floor apart with my feet.

3x5 Press 100lbs 5,3,3 - between no sleep, viruses, <insert excuse here>... yeah i f'ing hate these.
5x8 Weighted BackExtensions 45lbs.
2x25 band pull aparts
