By Joining This Forum, You Agree with These Forum Guidelines
* The forum is my party.
* You're invited to have fun with us AS LONG AS you behave as a proper guest.
The number 1 goal of this forum is to help people achieve their goal.
* Anything you post on this forum must be done with this goal in mind.
* Always give constructive feedback or do not answer at all.
Keep in Mind
* People online are real people
* People often struggle with things that are completely obvious to you.
* People have on average an IQ of 100.
* If you’re getting feedback, realize that the person must care a lot to have sent it.
* If you give, you’ll probably wind up getting, too.
* If you write IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS it sounds like shouting.
* If you flame, you’re wasting real people’s time.
* If you spam, you’re making yourself look bad.
* If you get mad at something: write it down, save it as a draft, go outside for 10mins, then come back and read what you wrote. You'll most likely won't feel like posting it anymore.
* Tell people what they're doing wrong and why so they understand how to fix it.
Read the FAQs, eBook, Archive and Do a Search
* Lots of questions have been asked before
* Make sure you read the faqs in the categories that have one, read the StrongLifts 5x5 eBook, check the Archive and do a search
* You'll get a faster reply reading all of those, and you'll learn other things too during your research.
Posting Guidelines
* Get to the point.
* Say what you want to say in a civilized & direct way.
* Check your spelling & language: english is not the primary language of a lot of forum members, including me. Make it easy for us to understand you.
* Use paragraphs & punctuations, this increases readibility.
Getting Help
* If you want to get help, you need to provide enough information.
* Mention your gender, age, height, body-weight, body fat.
* Mention also how much you can Squat, Deadlift, Bench Press, ...
* The more info you give, the better the reply you'll get.
Subject of Posts
* Use descriptive headlines. They increase the amount of answers you'll get. "Please help" says nothing. "Help me build muscle" is concrete.
* Avoid ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. It sounds like you're shouting.
* Avoid !!!!!! and ????? and !?!?!?. Posting stuff like "please help!!!!!" or "what about this????" make you look like a 10y old.
Myths & Misinformation
* The point of this site & forum is to give people information that will get them results quickly & naturally
* There's plenty of myths & misinformation out there, we don't need it here.
* You don't need to know everything, but if you're not sure about something then don't give advice to other people.
* And if you don't agree with the general philosophy of this site which is to build muscle & lose fat through strength training, then please go to a site that fits your philosophy or start your own site.
Arguing
* It's ok to disagree
* There's a difference between disagree and dislike
* Winning an argument equals time lost doing more constructive things
* Everybody is his own boss eventually
* Often people have to fail before they can see the light
Making Fun of Others/Judging Others
* We are not better than other people.
* Making fun of yourself is ok. Making fun of others isn't tolerated.
* Stop complaining that other people do things wrong at the gym. Start telling them how do things right.
* This includes posting funny pics in reply to posts. This isn't 4 chan. Avoid.
* Again: give a constructive answer or do not give an answer at all.
Insults/Name Calling/Rascism/Sexism/etc
* There are males, females, americans, europeans, asians, africans, etc on this forum
* We're all human beings with the same goals
* Refrain from insulting, name calling, rascism, sexism, etc
Spam & Self-promotion
* You can put a link to your site/product/etc in your signature (check your profile).
* You can post _relevant_ links if they help other people achieve their goal.
* You can not start a thread with a link to your website/article on your website with the goal of getting traffic.
* You can not post links to products/sites with the goal of earning money for sales/traffic you send.
* You know when you spam, and when you do, you'll get a ban. No questions asked.
Trolling
* Find something constructive to do with your time.
* The only way to deal with trolls is to limit your reaction to remind others not to respond to trolls.
Copyright Infringement
* You're not allowed to share copyrighted material with other forum members.
Deleting Accounts
* We do not delete accounts upon requests.
* We do not delete training logs upon requests.
* You don't want your account anymore: stop using it.
Changing Usernames
* We do not change usernames.
* Reason is that this would mess with clarity of past posts (think of quotes)
Failure to Follow These Guidelines Equals Ban

* This means ZERO TOLERANCE to BS.
* You get 1 warning. You do it again: ban.
* Spammers get a straight ban, no questions asked.
