I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

My stat:
24 year old Male
230 lbs
5 ft 11 in
%BodyFat: Too much....

I already been doing SL 5x5 for about a month right now. I have seen some noticeable results. My waist size has definitely gone down over last month. I have clean up my diet and start packing lunch to work instead of going out every day.

Here are my short term goals:

by Jan 1 2009
Body weight 200 lbs
OH Press at least 100 lb
Dip at least 5 at BW
Pull up/Chin up at least 10 at BW
Deadlift at least 200 lb

As for long term goals:
I don't know, If I can achieve those short terms goals then I will set them.

That mean I would probably have to lose about 2 lbs every week, which I think might be doable.

Here are some SL 5x5 workout stat:

Bench 115 lbs
Squat 115 lbs
Inverted Row 3, 2, 1 ( terrible I know)
Dip- Massive Failure ( can't do any of them)
OH Press 80 lbs
Deadlift 145 lbs
Chin Up 3, 3, 2

Of course there are some challenges. I still think my forms are terrible. I have been feeling slight back pain when I do Squat, and I am very afraid of doing DL because of my terrible form.
