I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Great progress. 14 lbs in 16 days is amazing. Also, the lifts have shown good increases.

Good luck with the "Looking good naked" journey.

Coming off GOMAD:

I feel sicker than I ever did ON the diet. I'm tired, and my insides are upset. It's also really hard to eat enough solid food to get up to 3300 calories.

I miss my milk.

Post-gomad update:

It has been 5 days or so since I quit GOMAD. My body weight is stable at about 185 lbs, which is only a 2 lb drop. I think the massive weight loss like Bluestreak had after GOMAD requires that you have been doing it for a month or more.

Now I am following precision nutrition, and trying to eat about 3000 calories a day. So far, I have continued to hit PR's every workout. I think the milk definitely helped me hit my optimum weight. Now there is muscle mass to build, and fat to drop, but I'm happy where I am.

Thanks for following along, everyone.

It has been interesting to follow.

The milk, eating and hard work has really paid off for you. Congrats on the result, well deserved :)

This has helped motivate me to pay more attention to my diet. I'm planning on hitting GOMAD for a while in a bit. Right now I'm just trying to eat as much as I can, but eventually I'll have to focus more on the food.

Good luck onwards with precision nutrition!
