I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I'd like other people's opinion of using powdered whole milk instead of the traditional gallon of liquid milk from the supermarket.

I haven't tried it yet, but the thought came to me when I read a stronglifts article that mentioned milk is 85% water. Many of the complaints here are that the volume of a gallon of milk is too much. With powdered whole milk you could keep the same nutritional value, and choose a more manageable volume.

I can't think of any cons other than a higher price and lesser availability. But if you're struggling to drink an entire gallon, it might be worth the extra cost.

Well, as long as the calories even out you can replace the gallon of milk with anything bar fast carbohydrates like sugar and still gain weight. You obviously need to have your 1g of protein/lbs covered, but other than that, go for it!
