I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. :lol: But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I've been using mine for over a year and a half. Still very happy with them and my new DL PRs. I use them for Power Cleans, Chins and Pulls, too.

I've been managing to get to the gym in the mornings for cardio and 'tick over' work but that's it. I'm going to Holland shooting next weekend so I'm looking at Thursday 19th to be back at SL. Hopefully I'm getting on top of my work load now, and with the on-set of winter, I should have more time for the iron. I'll do my best to catch up with everyone's logs, but don't be offended if I haven't commented on any, it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you :D .

Stay Strong

Do you mean you're going to Holland (The Netherlands) to shoot, or to some event called Holland shooting?

In any case, have fun 8)

We're not offended by lack of your comments - there are plenty others to do that. What offends us is your distance from the iron.

it's still a long time until the 19th. do you do some bodyweight stuff in between, a few press-ups and pull-ups maybe?

slightly unrelated: do you actually get much recoil from the gun? does the increased strength help to withstand it?

Thanks guys :D . Just to make things more complicated, I've just taken on another (minor admittedly) project that could take up more of my already limited spare time :| . Still I'm taking it and making it while I can.

@pangram. Yes mate, I'm shooting in a Practical Shotgun Competition being held in a town called Baexem, should be good 8) .

@guru. Understood, and the distance from the iron is diminishing as we speak, I'm still planning on a restart next week when I should have more time.

@markg. Don't know about crinkly mate, and the shirt has got a little tighter. Definitely put on a bit of belly fat in the last few weeks, but only a bit mind! :wink:

@FGNM. Thanks dude, and I will :) .

@Helm. I don't bother with the bodyweight stuff, I prefer the weights. However I'm not saying that's a good attitude to have :| . As for recoil, there really isn't that much, but I would have to agree that the bigger guys that shoot feel it less (or handle it better), but the smaller (thinner) guys move quicker. As always it's a trade off :?

@KIB. Yeah baby, shotgun man all the way! 8)

Yo Dudes! :D
Shotgun match went well, and out of the British shooters that competed I came second, and seventh overall in my division. :D

I'm still on for a restart of 3 x 5 for tomorrow night (Thursday), but I fear the DOMS will be around for a couple of days, ouch!

I'll catch up as and when I can.
