I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I don't care for really toned girls, I like mine a little soft around the edges! But then again, any girl (well almost) can be a hottie if she has the eyes and conversation skills :)

What kind of gyms do you guys go to where you encounter these bulky, ripped women?

I've been around commercial gyms and university gyms for years now, and while I've seen numerous dudes of the "wannabe bodybuilder" type and the occasional huge footballer, but I have never, ever seen a woman that looked "ripped" or "bulky", and certainly none with sixpack abs. Plenty that looked "fit", "athletic" and a few that were even "strong", but none that looked like the well-known image of lady bodybuilder. (Could just be that the cutting is what makes the look of a female bodybuilder.)

Anyway, I like women of pretty much every body type, except for sloppy-fat and poor posture. Athletic and strong can be good, so can soft and voluptuous, so can skinny. Of course, once you actually talk to them and spend time with them, personality is everything.

As far as having lifting as a common interest with my girl, I'm not sure if I want my wife to be my lifting partner, it brings back memories of teaching her how to drive....

I wish more women would do more weights in general. Is it a turn on? I think it would be. :)

You think it would be? As in, you don't know yet because you haven't seen it?

I feel so sorry for you, dude.

There is this totally smokin twenty-something hispanic gal at my gym who does deadlifts and push presses all the time. Deadlifts!

this woman, stacy hammar, champion from idaho, is very attractive to me. and of course she is a powerlifter and not a bodybuilder. too many women feel they will look like those ridiculous female bodybuilders, but no, they wont.
as an aside, one of those pics shows some serious arm muscles, but then while deadlifting, muscles do bulge out at that moment.
overall, for someone who can deadlift 330+ she is still extremely feminine, especially her legs which look powerful but in a healthy feminine way, and her smile and the light in her eyes. shows us what lifting can do for the body and soul together, both women and men.

Zuzanna is a perfect example of how incredibly hot fit chicks are. Roided / bearmode powerlifting chicks are a turn-off, but fit girls like this are sexy.

Female olympic lifters(athletes as well) are pretty hot as well, depending on what weightlifting class they compete in

You do know she did porn, right?

Anyway, there's this really hot blonde at my gym, I come across sometimes. She has a nice bone structure, curved hips, nicely tonned legs and proportioanted in everything. She even falls into the "slightly curvaceous" class that I fancy. But she has a disproportion: her tits. Her tits are incredibly big, specially for a girl with her frame and bodyfat, and I'm almost sure they're natural.

They are massive, to say the least. Whenever seh's doing reverse hyper, I keep thinking to myself, "boy, those sure as hell count as weighted reversed hypers".

She was in the peck deck machine the other day and I had to pinch one of my testicles to avoid laughing. She did it on purpose, I'm sure.

Most of the women at the gym I go to are pretty normal looking ... i.e. at least somewhat overweight. I usually go there with my wife, who is by far better looking than any of the others. She came by her slender figure naturally, but I'm trying to turn her into a beast. I dragged her away from her spin bike and treadmill and have her doing squats, hang cleans, overhead presses and benches. So far she is humoring me. :-)

In general any woman who is not overweight is potentially attractive. More so if she has a good attitude and smiles once in a while. Fat is a deal-breaker for me, and always has been.
