I did kickboxing/martial arts for 6 years, from age 10 to 16, but since quitting I have lost a lot of the muscle mass I had built up from it, especially in my legs. Upper body strength is easier and more fun to work on, which is why everyone (except SL 5x5!) focuses on it, but my goals right now are to squat and deadlift 150lbs(bodyweight). Once I get that the next step will be 1.5xBW squat.
