I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

So im new here

Ive been lifting weights now for about a week. Ive always been strong for my size but i had an accident.

I hit a cat on my motorcycle and destroyed my knee. Broken femur, torn ligaments, you get the picture.

Well im 19 and the accident was 4 months ago. I have had a leg cast on and have had trouble being active. I lost 25 lbs in 1 month, mostly leg muscle.

I work out on average 2 hours a day. All upper body stuff for now consitering my leg is still mangled.

Ive noticed big muscle gains already. But im worried about my eating. I eat alot, but i live with a friend and really cant eat all of their food.

worse off is its not healthy at all. All my money is going into paying off rediculous medicle bills.

Im currently eating a protene mix before my workouts.

Anyone have any suggestions for certian good foods i could get my hands on cheap.

Thanks everyone.
