I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Hi all,

I'm starting SL5x5 today so thought it would be a good idea to join this forum and post my current stats for future reference and motivation.

I'm 29 and 5"11.5, my current body weight is 186lb (84kg approx).
My activities are football, cycling & martial arts (kickboxing) so my cardio is quite good but I want to focus more on my whole body now so my diet over the last week or so has moved to 5 eggs(scrambled) or porridge for breakfast. Lunch is either pasta salad (there are so many variations of this, its great) or sandwiches on brown bread (usually tuna, cheese or prawns). Dinner is the inconsistent meal so far (I try to make sure it has a good level of protein and some veg but that's about it). I snack on nuts and fruit through the day and plan to add a protein supplement when the time is right (don't know enough about them yet). I'm aware that its gonna be difficult for me to add muscle mass because I do quite a bit of cardio so any advice would be very welcome.

Cheers :D
