I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I'm 5"10 and 135lbs.

One of my goals is to get upto 160lbs, still a long way to go.

The problem is, even though i've gained weight, a lot of it is fat.

I wouldn't have even noticed that i've gained fat because my abs look better than they did before i gained the weight, but my trousers beg to differ.

I can only wear 1 pair of school trousers now, as they are the only ones that fit me, all the others are too tight. Lots of my jeans are starting to feel a little snug around the waist aswel.

I need to get rid of this excess podge because my clothes jut arent fitting.

Im not looking to lose too much, as im still trying to bulk, but enough for my school trousers to fit again, how would i go about doing this? I'm thinking HIIT, but i'd like others opinions

Are you sure that you gain a lot of fat?..

Maybe you're clothes don't fit anymore because your adding muscle to your body.. but anyway, it's all about trying things and seeing what works for you... If you are gaining a lot of fat, you should clean up your diet a little bit and see what happens... Your goal is to gain weight, so you should eat a lot so that's why I would advise you to eat a little cleaner, but still keep eating a lot..

It could be that you're just building thicker muscles around your core, hence pants may not fit as well.
Goals:
Squat- 315 lbs 5x5
Deadlift- 400 lbs 1x5 (regular grip)
Press- 205 lbs 1x5
Current (known) 1RM:
Squat: 371 lbs
Clean: 220 lbs
