I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I'm looking for a certain solution (software/service)

I'm in need of an already existent content distribution system (so we dont' have to spend extra cash to build from scratch).

Not the usual one where you have a list of emails and it sends the same information out to everyone. I'm looking for something that could handle many clients, who all have their own users that they want to distribute content to. Not only this, but I would like each client to be able to distribute different content to the different users, if need be.

Example:

Let's say there are 2 customers using this solution:

1. Personal trainer

I want it so he can send different training regimens to different clients of his through our system. Or if it's a multi-stage training regimen, if he would have many clients of his using the same regimen, to be able to send different stages to different clients, depending on what week/level they are at.

2. Online professor

Same premise - to be able to send different stages to different students, depending on what level they are at, but not all are at the same level at the same time.

I know there are many software guys on here. If you need more info or would like me to clarify something, please just ask.

I'm not exactly sure what you want, but if it helps whenever I'm in need of some simple freeware I poke around http://sourceforge.net for awhile. Are you looking to get this at no cost, or are you looking to purchase an existing system?

Do you basically want a pre-defined set of "stages", which are sent out to people based on whatever level of performance they're at?

We're willing to pay, it's a business thing.

We want to set up this system so that clients of ours (aka. personal trainers or teachers, like i said) can login and have very specific options for distributing their content.

Rather than just sending out the same thing to everyone on the mailing list or whatever, we want a solution where these clients can, let's say:

1. send out possibly different content to different people on their list, but based on different cycles. Or, send out the same content, but to different people, at different times, depending on where they're at in the cycle, yes.

From what I can gather, most content distribution systems are very basic and general, and involve sending the same thing out to different people at the same time.

2. Each client who uses our system should be able to integrate this into some kind of billing cycle or information ticketing system so that he can bill his users accordingly (based on how far they've come in the cycle or whatnot).

Thanks for helping eLv. Did that clear anything up for ya?
