I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

International Gym Talk/Etiquette

I came across a couple old threads where people were discussing their native languages, and I thought of something that might be useful to some people here on SL. I was thinking we could create a list of phrases and common courtesies and such that you would use in a gym, and have people translate them to their mother languages. This way, if you travel to another country and want to use the gyms there, you will be able to get around the gym a little easier. I for example am studying in Hungary for 4 months so I know something like this would benefit me, especially if I do any more traveling. I speak hardly any Hungarian, so I find myself barely communicating with anyone at the gym and feeling like an idiot when someone approaches me. What do you guys think? Could it be a useful thread? If so, let's brainstorm a formal list of phrases so we can start getting some translations.
