I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Is it Strength Training or Body Building?

Bigger chest, bigger arms, 6-pack abs, bigger calves, x-shape.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I take it as Mouse posted that as a joke because he's not a bodybuilder.

Would be cool to see him in MMA. I guess he was a competive boxer before.

Now THIS is an interesting factoid....
In 2005, Mariusz formed a musical group called Pudzian Band, with himself as a singer. In 2006 the Pudzian band toured for the first time, and they recorded the song Zdobyć świat ("To Conquer the World"). The other members of the group are Krystian Pudzianowski (Mariusz's brother), and Anna Brzozowska.

I can't imagine he can actually sing but who knows?

Completely. Probly my fault, just skimming the posts. I thought all those hours watching strongman had finally paid off.

Gotta admit though not much is as inspiring as watching one of those competitions and then hitting the weights.

Especially the abs, they are definitely the product of bodybuilding. Isolated exercises, higher rep ranges..

Maybe I should have posted it like this.

With only looking at a picture and knowing nothing about how that person trains, it can be difficult to tell.

Although I suspect Ian Doherty is more of a bodybuilder having seen the pictures of him in BB Competitions.

Erp58 - I would suggest you get strong first to get a solid base of muscle, then go BB if that is your desire.

Thats the strongman that recently switched to MMA yes?
Stats:
Bench: 97kg
Squat: 112kg
Deadlift: 117kg
OHP: 55kg
Dips: 40kg
Pull-ups: 22kg

The deadlift is not dead; size is dead without it.

He will get punished in pro mma or boxing if he walks in looking like that.

I am just praying for someone to go in low for the takedown and Mariusz to hurl them out of the ring like a keg toss.

Even though Mario is strong enough to rip someone's limbs off, if he isn't trained well, we will get knocked the fuck out in MMA.

He don't have much traps to speak of-hence he doesn't train that much for strength.
