I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. :lol: But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Stats:
Female, 30yr, 5'5", 146lbs, 28% BF

Stats: all stats are my current 5x5 weights, I have not tried to "max out" as of yet
Squats: 170lbs
Deadlift: 185lbs
Bench Press: 80lbs
Overhead Press: 65lbs

I am trying to lose fat, I would love to get down to 15%. I was always ripped and lean, however I stopped smoking 5 years ago and the weight slowly crept up. Since stopping smoking I have been on a roller coaster with my weight. I will get real lean by lots of cardio and very low fat/low calorie diet. However, once I eat a little more liberally I put the weight back on. I have always lifted as I was a jock in high school but since getting out of school I was a machine user due to my intimidation of the free weights. I started the 5x5 program in July and I need to get my
