I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

With your experience I'm sure you'll choose the weight that's right for you. I was just curious cuz we're at the same squat right now and I was wondering how long that would last

Ah but really your ahead of me, you way 13 -15kg lighter than me, so if anything, Ive got some catching up to do. :x

Weighted dips - This weight felt very good compared to last time, form and depth was spot on.

Chinups (Warmup 1x5 1x5 10kg) 20kg 4/3/3

Squats - Form and technique was spot on all reps except the last two. Really looking forward to attempting 92kg again on Monday, Im sure I will nail it. :)

Overhead Press - Wow, I cant believe I acheived this weight, I'm really pleased, 60kg done 70kg next, bring it on.

Deadlift - Finally back up to PR weight and form felt fantastic, no back pain what so ever, cant wait to set a new PR next week.

Chinups - I used a lot of energy and strength for the previous excersies, so by the time it came to chin ups, I was boggered.

Summary - Really pleased with this weeks efforts considering this week has been morning workouts, for some reason I feel like I have more energy, the only problem is getting yourself motivated first thing in the morning. but as soon as I get started and nail the first 2 sets of the squats, Im fine. Looking forward to setting a new PR's on squats and hopefully Benchpress next week.

Barbell Row PR (Warmup 1x5 40kg)PR 69.5kg 5/5/5/5/5
Weighted Dips 0/0/0 Not done.

Squats - Finally over 90kg, felt great to achieve this weight, big thanks to Corky for making me change to 5kg instead of 2.5kg. Now that im back up to PR weight will be going up by 2.5kg. 100kg by christmas? dam right. :D

Benchpress - The first and second set went great, was expecting to nail this at that point, but then on the 3rd set last rep, like usuall my right arm struggled, when I got up off the bench, I had a pounding headache (never had this happen before),as my heart rate decreased, the headache would almost disappear. I put this down to the heavy drinking session Saturday night, I spude my guts up next morning, felt like crap all day.

Barbell row- Work through this and managed it with no problem except the pounding headache at the end of every set. :x

Weighted dips - I had no choice but to drop these for this workout, the headache was just not bearable anymore.

Overhead Press (Warmup 1x5 20kg 1x5 40kg) 64.5kg 2/1/0/0/0

Chinups (Warmup 1x5 1x5 10kg) 20kg 4/4/4

Decided to use traffic light colours, Green - PR, Orange - Stalled, Red - Failed 3 attempts.

Squats - Form was crap kept leaning forward slightly, knees kept folding in, but depth was good :) . In all, Im happy with achieving this weight and the amount of reps, will hopfully improve next time.

Overhead Press - Holy crap was this heavy could not believe I have only gone up 2.5kg compared to last time, Im not sure I will get past this weight with out a deload, will have to see.

Deadlift - So pleased this went right, mind you I pulled my back slightly on the warmup set, I did immediately stop the lift as soon as I felt the pain in my lower back as I knew my form was not right. Luckily there is no major pain.

Chinups - Getting there, Im sure I will complete the full 3x5 next time round.

Dont worry I'm still here. Did not do a workout on Friday as I did a workout with my brother and his mate at there local gym yesterday. Was not my usual 5x5, it was what they like to do. This involved chest and tricep excercises 3 hours of it, was nice for a change to have a spotter, and really push myself to the max, one for sure is that my left arm when doing chest work is incredibly more stronger than my right arm. I'm slowly catching then up with bench work, hopefully in a months time when I go again, I'll be matching them. :)

Todays workout -

Squats (Warmup 1x5 bar, 1x5 47kg 1x5 67kg 1x5 77kg 1x5 87kg)PR 94.5kg 5/5/5/5/5
Benchpress (Refer to comment)
Barbell Row PR (Warmup 1x5 40kg)PR 72kg 5/5/5/5/5
Weighted Dips (Refer to comment)

Squats - Yet another PR, was doing 1 rep followed by a 3-5 sec rest to get my breath back, I'm guessing this is exceptable. :|

Benchpress - Chest and triceps still aching from saturdays workout. After doing warmups I knew I would not be attempting any PR's. 1x5 67kg, 1x5 77kg, 1x5 87kg, 1x3 89.5kg, 1x2 92kg.

Barbell row- Was not expecting this, thought with my triceps still aching I will not be hitting any PR's, how wrong was I.

Weighted dips - Gave these a miss, will deffintley be attemting these on Friday.

Todays workout -

Squats Not done, abductors and glutes are aching from Mondays effort.
Overhead Press (Warmup 1x5 20kg 1x5 40kg) 64.5kg 3/1/1/1/1
Deadlift (Warmup 2x1 87kg, 1x1 107kg 1x1 117kg 1x1 127kg 1x1 137kg)PR 144.5kg 1/1/1/1/1
Chinups (Warmup 1x5 1x5 10kg) PR 20kg 5/5/5

Overhead Press - 1 Rep, 1 poxy rep :x , I cant believe I have only gone up 2.5kg since last PR and all I can do is 1 bloody rep. I have no choice but to deload, when I reach PR again I will only go up by 1kg.

Deadlift - These felt great, really please with form, problem is I need to purchase some more weights or a longer bar.

Chinups - Nailed it, I'm holiday next week, so will not be attempting this weight again next time round.

Tense your glutes and stomach muscles, stick your chest out, deep breath and push as hard as you can. I have always had strong shoulders when it comes to shoulder work, I used to do a lot of shoulder isolation exercises at the gym 3 years ago. And no this is not the answer to getting stronger shoulders, at the time I could not do deadlifts, pullups, dips or squats, if I had I would be squatting 1x5 BW by now. :x
