I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Hello!

Feels wierd introducing myself now, seeing as i feel like i know most of you already from reading so much on the forum but here goes!

Firstly i'm a 26y old male from Stockholm Sweden.

In my younger years I was quite active with different sports, running, basketball etc. (mainly rollerblading/ice skating 3h+/day from around age 10-17).
At 17-18 I started running 4+ times per week for weight loss and just fun (dropped down to 69k and could run 2+ miles almost without breaking a sweat).
18-19 were army years. I had a pretty relaxed position with loads of "dead time" so I got in to body building with the rest of my squad.
I kept up going to the gym for a few months after my service was over (stopped on 97kg with under 10% body fat).

I was still enjoying lifting weights but something happend and I started getting various illnesses (was in bed with a fever or worse 1 week per month on avrage).
Going to the gym just wasn't an option any more since I got a fever the day after every time.
I've since then gone under the knife 3 times for seperate things (throat, wrist, colon).

This kept going untill around 6 months ago when it just.... stopped.
That coupled with a 1 year celebacy vow( 10 months and counting!) left me with a crapload of extra energy.

So here I am, ready, willing and finally able to walk the walk!

After messing around with my old rutine for 2 weeks i got tipped about this site by a bud and after 1h of reading there is no going back. Ever.
Today is the first day of week 6 and, like always with this program, I can't wait to get to the gym!

In other words : THANK YOU MEHDI! This site has been a great inspiration and source of knowlage. After reading the e-book, web site, forum and various other articles I feel my knowlage of the human body is up tenfold (still miles to go before i consider myself competent, but its a very good start).

Special thanks to James and H, it's almost at the point where i scroll down the forum posts to check what you guys said before reading the rest. Keep up the great work!

Welcome aboard Juzme. Good luck with the routine. I would suggest that you start a log here.

As for your pull up goal, you'll be able to do one before you know it. 2015 will probably be 3 sets of 10 reps each, at the least. Just keep at it.

Hey Guru,

Will get started with the log asap.

Aiming for the pull-up within the month, the 2015 was mainly frustration :)
