I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

yea me too, unfortunately i am going away to college in a few weeks and haven't checked out their gym/polices, but i'm pretty sure it will have what i need and i don't think they will be too strict about anything. if they are i guess i'll just find one of the little dingy, back alley gyms that there are all over chicago.

Wow my girl just asked me to go work out with her at her gym today, which happens to be planet fitness, and I agreed. I immediately regret this decision. Oh, treunleiss, make sure they allow over head lifts at your school gym. They didn't at mine and I got bitched out for it constantly.

She wants to go on Monday so we'll see if they even have a barbell and enough plates to do heavy deadlifts.

Omg this is a golden opportunity to fuck with them. Please do deadlifts and videotape yourself being yelled at by them or something. Try to set off the "lunk alarm" so they get all pissy. You gotta get this on tape!

Sorry to disappoint gentlemen, but I asked my girl to take a rain check on going to her gym. Primarily because I'd be signed in as her guest and I'm not disrespectful enough to have her to take flak for me being an ass to prove a point. Secondly I woke up today feeling great and I didn't want to waste my time going to a gym to not take care of business.
