I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I went to the gym on Friday not really expecting to lift because i really need to do some spinal decompression bad! so i did something i havent done probably never...HIIT! well a version of i guess you can say. i did 30 minutes of very high intense hills on an eliptical machine. mentally i kept wanting to quit but i was trying to keep my speed up above 8 and i did just that the whole time, well except for when my commander came over starting chit chatting with me (my speed dropped to 6.7) i was drenched in sweat, and my legs felt a little like rubber. but it was awesome and i'm gonna do it 3 times a week. after that i was very very warmed up and i went into squats. at first i didnt think i would be able to do it. but i gathered myself and got to work. this turned out to be the toughest workout i ever put myself thru but it was a goodie!

My workout was cut short (some bad guys attacked thats all i'm saying) but it was a pretty good one. I dont know if i just didnt have the adrenaline or the "want to" but i started off doing Hill Intervals again on the eliptical machine, i was trying to do 30 minutes again but i ended up doing 20mins 19sec. averaged 84rpms. also i didnt eat so good and i took a nap before i went to the gym so i should've gone early in the morning since i had the day off. lesson learned. 40 days left til i go home. my weight goes up and down between 211lbs and 214lbs
