    I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. :lol: But I did. Bench 210 lbs 5/5/5 (NEW PR!!!!!!!!!!! finally)
Clean 190 lbs 3/3/3/3/3 (NEW PR!!!!! gett'r done)
Dips 65 lbs 5/5/3 (almost....)

Morning Weigh-In
175 lbs
-waistline still around 30.5"
-I would swear that my bench is actually getting better because my squat is getting stronger. I can really drive my feet into the ground more, and the squats seem to be making my whole body grow

Great work mate!
I'll have to translate those into kg's sometime so I understand your levels of super-strength a bit more.

Seems like you are benching over 90kgs though, which is awesome for a start :)

Thanks man! My bench has been stuck for it seems like forever, glad to finally break through the plateau :D
As for the weight, I don't like multiplying by 2.2 as much as you dislike dividing by it (even though I am an accounting major haha). I usually go by number of 20kg/45lb plates as a strength benchmark when comparing, makes life easier.

Box Squat 225 lbs 5/5/5 (PLATES BABY, only thing I hit a PR on this time but still awesome!!!)
Bench 215 lbs 4/3/2 (first stall at this weight)
Clean 195 lbs 3/2/3/1/1
Dips 65 lbs 5/4/4 (think I have a problem with going far too low and getting stuck in the hole. Or maybe I am just not strong enough and making excuses =)

Thanks man, I've seen some great progress on cleans recently. 135 lbs felt like a joke when I first tried it, but the weight now is getting really heavy and my less than perfect form needs a little work. If I keep stalling and don't get 200 I am going to be mad at you for jinxing me =)

Box Squat 230 lbs 5/5/5 (NEW PR, better check my form though)
Press 130 lbs 5/5/5 (broke this before, 135 is going to be the big barrier)
Deadlift 300 lbs 1x5 (NEW PR, GET SOME)
Pull-Ups 22.5 lbs 5/4/3

-Set the bar in the power rack as high as it would go for pull-ups. Seemed to work okay, the bar did rotate a little bit.

- horrible workout, felt terrible for some reason :( Hopefully the weekend off will do my body some good. Come Monday, I plan on getting all of those squat reps.

Box squat 225 lbs 5/5/5
- Kept the weight to check my form, as my lower back has been hurting lately. I figured out that I wasn't arching my back properly and I was flaring my elbows back behind me, which was causing me to cave over. At least it isn't a flexibility problem, I just checked this morning and I could do full squats with my toes touching a wall, which I could never do before :)

Press 130 lbs 5/5/5
- Couldn't move 135 at all, but I got 130 lbs with ease. I can see why people microload the OHP. I don't yet have the balls to come to the gym with 1.25 lbs plates though. Maybe someday I will be that hardcore :)

Deadlift 305 lbs 1x3
- I'm starting to wonder if I should continue to do sets of 5 for all my warm up sets, or drop the reps down to save more energy for the last set.

Pull-Ups 22.5 lbs 5/3/2
- Damn, less than last time. I have a sticking point when the bar reaches the top of my head, and it is so annoying :(

Morning Weight:
176 lbs
30.5" waist
- Gaining weight is hard these days, I didn't do my usual cardio this weekend. On top of that, I ate 3000+ kcals every day, and drank a fair amount of beer on top of that. O well, no excuses, I can always eat more :)

If it helps, I only do 3 reps on my last DL warmup set (and I is expert :lol:)

I'm sure it would help, like you suggest.
