Cardio 20 mins
After getting situated with the Olympic weightlifting club, other members have told me to go ahead and stick with stronglifts 5x5. Some changes:
- High bar squats instead of low bar
- 5x5 snatch and 5x5 clean and jerk with light weight at the beginning of every lift sesh to practice form
- Replaced Barbell Rows with 5x5 Power Cleans, which obviously will help me more as an Olympic lifter
- Dropped cardio down to 20 mins, three days a week. If I start getting fat, I will up it to 40 minutes, or will try the bear complexes that Mehdi recommends
- To my goals, I will probably add a clean+jerk, snatch, and power clean goal weight. As of right now, I have no idea what my max lifts are in those categories
