I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Hi everyone, thought I'd start logging my progress on 5x5 SL

Age: 30
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 254lbs
BF: 20% approx
Chest: 46"
Waist: 39"
Biceps: 17"
Goal: Squat, Deadlift and Bench Press BW FOR 5X5

I currently can deadlift and bench my BW quite easily, but my squat is somewhat behind, so I've dropped the bench and deadlifts down to my squat standard and hope to bring all 3 up fairly evenly.

Latest Session:
Squat: 62.5kg
OH Press: 30kg
Deadlift: 65kg
Pull up: 3x5
Training Log
6'3" · 281lbs · 30yo · 3x5 PR: Squat 170kg · Bench 117.5kg · OHP 72.5kg · Row 87.5kg · Deadlift 1x5x190kg

I think it's a mistake to drop weight on your deadlift and bench. Your squats will catch up soon enough and the deadlift is usually higher than the squat.

I hear that bro, I forgot to add that I've been out of weight training for 5 years. I've held onto my strength fairly well, but felt I should just drop the bench and deadlifts.
