I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Well, after being told about this site by a friend, I'm going to start today. A little background info about myself...I was in pretty decent shape a couple of months ago, but then became ill and haven't been able to workout for a good 2 months while I recovered. Now that I'm feeling better, I'm ready to get back in shape. I'd like to bulk up mainly, but I wouldn't mind losing a bit of my body fat either  I also plan to incorporate riding my bike into the routine, perhaps on off days, as my cardio. I'm not a fan of running, and the pool here isn't big enough to swim laps. I'm going to be starting with the basic workout, 3-4 times per week.

Workout A Workout B
Squat 5x5 Squat 5x5
Bench Press 5x5 Overhead Press 5x5
Inverted Rows 3xF Deadlift 1x5
Push-ups 3xF Pull-ups/Chin-ups 3xF
Reverse Crunch 3x12 Prone Bridges 3x30sec

My starting stats, are as follows: 22 years old, 6ft, 177 pounds, approx. 15% bodyfat, according to some bodyfat calipers I have. I'm about to do workout A for the first time, and will post how it goes. Feel free to provide any tips/suggestions.

That was a nice workout...did 205 to start on squats, and 155 on bench, both of which were a good weight to get started on for me. The toughest part for me was the crunch.
